How to set-up Pre-Authorized Payment for your clients
Skip Client Approval is a feature in TaxPay that allows tax professionals to bypass the standard client approval process for scheduled tax remittance. This streamlined approach can significantly reduce processing time and improve efficiency for routine or pre-approved tasks.
- Turn on the Skip Client Approval Feature in Settings > Firm Settings.
2. Once activated, you can submit a pre-authorization to your client by going to Clients > Bank Account > Request Pre-Authorized Account.
The client will receive a notification via email to connect their bank info using our secure bank aggregator Plaid.

Once completed, new payments will be scheduled without the need for client approval.
