To ensure compliance and reduce risk, IRS personal payments now include a required identity verification step:

Before submitting a 1040-ES or other personal federal payment, the client must provide:

  • Date of Birth
  • Filing Status (e.g., Single, Married Filing Jointly)
  • Mailing Address on Last Year's Tax Return

This information is validated against IRS records to authorize the payment. It adds a layer of protection for both clients and firms.

🔧 Additional Fixes & Improvements

  • Table refresh bugs resolved — data updates now reflect immediately after edits
  • Scheduling for firm users no longer requires a bank account at the time of draft
  • Help Center added to the main navigation menu
  • Payment Schedule table now sortable by Tax Account

This release strengthens Remitian's firm-grade workflows, expands support for U.S. tax jurisdictions, and increases trust with identity-verified federal personal payments.
